1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Unikjob (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you’re using Unikjob on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. The Service
Unikjob is a field-service management platform that helps Nigerian service businesses schedule jobs, manage clients, send quotes and invoices, collect payments, and track team activity. The Service is provided by UNIK Technologies.
During private beta, features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. Pricing for post-beta plans is shared on our pricing page but is not final until we exit beta.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
The account owner is responsible for adding, removing, and managing team members and their permissions within the organisation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages via the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy substantial parts of the Service for competing purposes
- Upload content that infringes third-party rights or violates Nigerian law
5. Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you upload to Unikjob (client records, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, messages). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data as needed to provide the Service.
We will not sell your customer data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.
6. Subscription, billing, and refunds
During private beta, the Service is free of charge. When paid plans launch, billing will be handled via Stripe on a monthly subscription basis. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
No refunds are offered for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access until the end of the paid period.
Payments to your end-clients (via Paystack, Flutterwave, bank transfer, etc.) are governed by the terms of the respective payment providers and are independent of your subscription with us.
7. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding your customer data) are and remain the exclusive property of UNIK Technologies. The Unikjob name, logo, and design are trademarks.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
On termination, we’ll retain your data for a reasonable recovery period (typically 30 days), after which it’s permanently deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as-is” during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or perfect data integrity. We work hard to make Unikjob reliable, but you should keep independent backups of business- critical data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, UNIK Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
